Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently while handling cash responsibly
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Assist with food preparation, food handling, and maintaining sanitation standards in the kitchen area
- Clear tables, bus tables, and ensure cleanliness of dining and serving areas
- Manage food safety protocols and ensure proper sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Support team members with basic food industry tasks such as bussing, stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean workspace
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or quick service restaurant environments preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math for sales upselling
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in a restaurant or café setting
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
- Experience with cashiering, serving, or retail math enhances your ability to succeed in this role
