Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient processing
- Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food preparation to uphold safety standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques like OpenTable reservations and upselling strategies
- Clear tables, bus tables, and assist with general restaurant cleanliness to maintain a welcoming environment
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments efficiently
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and basic math for cashiering and cash handling tasks
- Experience with food industry tools like serving trays, bussing supplies, and kitchen equipment is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a positive attitude to create a lively dining atmosphere
