Role Overview:
The Wraparound Lead will provide leadership, training, and clinical supervision for high fidelity Wraparound. This role includes coordination and development of Wraparound training and ensures policies, procedures, and other activities support the strategic goals and mission of Valley Cities. The Wraparound Lead will be responsible for using a team approach and coordinating staff, program development, staff training, clinical supervision, and referral and program education across all VC sites and programs. They may be expected to fill in for Facilitators as needed. This position is a prorated FTE, as Lead duties are assumed in addition to an employee’s existing role and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Internal Administrative and Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in supporting the mission and goals of VCBH and maintaining and expanding the quality of Wraparound delivery and implementation.
- Model principles of Wraparound service delivery excellence.
- Work with Wraparound Coach to assess the delivery of fidelity Wraparound.
- Provide leadership in program design and development.
- Promote a team environment that emphasizes teamwork, trust, professionalism, efficiency, and customer service.
- Emphasize recovery and wellness and promote a culture of Trauma-Informed Care.
- Promote a Wraparound program culture of excellence in client care and community and funder responsiveness.
- Provide some oversight and support of Wraparound team members, including assisting staff in identifying and satisfying individual professional development goals.
- Contribute to staff performance evaluations, offering input in the areas of service delivery and program implementation.
- Work with Wraparound coach to ensure effective team functioning.
- Monitor team Care Plans, progress notes, and CANS assessments to ensure fidelity and meet relevant contract requirements.
- Maintain onboarding and training programs and coordinate with Wraparound Coach and Service Director to determine areas for development and performance improvement on the team.
Stakeholder Responsibilities:
- Educate referral streams and the community about Wraparound at Valley Cities.
- Educate internal resources and staff about Wraparound services and referral processes, as well as how to effectively participate in a Wraparound Delivery Team.
- Assist in assigning youth and families to Facilitators.
- In collaboration with Wraparound Coach and Service Director, evaluate and monitor outcomes to aid in continuous quality improvement of Wraparound implementation and delivery.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, or equivalent experience
- Minimum two years of experience in a health or human services field.
- Minimum one year of experience practicing and providing Wraparound.
Experience:
- Experience working with youth and family systems such as schools, juvenile justice, child welfare, and mental health.
- Current Washington State Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Pass required background checks.
- Demonstrated service-oriented experience that includes successful staff development and quality client outcomes.
- Demonstrates a clear understanding of Wraparound Principles.
- Demonstrates a clear understanding of the value of Peer support.
- Demonstrates clear, effective written communication skills.
