We are looking to fill a 1st and 2nd shift CNC Machinist. This role is responsible for machine setup, CNC programming using G & M code, process improvement, troubleshooting, and the production of precision-machined parts using a variety of CNC equipment. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a variety of CNC and manual machines, including milling machines, profiling machines, drill presses, bench lathes, surface grinders, and boring machines
- Produce precision parts while maintaining tight tolerances and quality standards
- Perform CNC programming and make edits using G & M code as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately
- Perform deburring and other hand-finishing operations as required
- Inspect completed parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications
- Select, align, and secure fixtures, cutting tools, and materials for machining operations
- Adjust machine settings to optimize production efficiency and maintain product quality
- Perform tool changes independently and manage tool life effectively
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with 5S standards
- Monitor machine performance and document operational concerns for supervisor review
- Support and train junior operators when necessary
- Collaborate effectively with supervisors, peers, and other departments
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality management standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Experience setting up and operating CNC machines to manufacture precision components
- Strong understanding of G & M code programming and program editing
- High-level blueprint reading and interpretation skills
- Knowledge of precision measuring tools and inspection techniques
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective verbal communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven, customer-focused environment
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
