Job Details

American Traveler is hiring an LPN with long-term care experience for a 6-week evening shift assignment at a long-term care facility in Malone, NY.

Long-term care (LTC) facility setting in Malone, New York
Evening shift scheduled 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, 40 hours per week
Monday through Sunday scheduling with no block schedules
Minimum of every other weekend required, with schedule adjusted to meet unit and patient care needs
No on-call requirements
Floating not required

Current NY LPN license required; candidates with proof of pending NY licensure will be considered
Current AHA BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of LPN experience required
Long-term care experience required
At least two professional references from a Nurse Manager and/or Supervisor required for consideration — one within the past 6 months and one within the past year of employment
SSN and DOB required for consideration
7-year background check, FACIS 3, and NY State check required
Reliable personal transportation required — public transportation is not accessible in this area
License required if applicable

LPN may be required to cover CNA duties as needed
All employment gaps of more than 90 days must be explained in work history
Complete work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type is required
Religious or medical exemption documentation must be included if applicable

Pay rates are tiered based on distance from facility: travel (101+ miles), radius (51–100 miles), and local (50 miles or less)
