Sharp Maintenance Services is a growing industrial services company serving the oil & gas, midstream, refinery, power generation, and industrial markets. As we continue expanding throughout the Marcellus and Utica regions, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Sales Representative to drive business growth, develop strategic customer relationships, and expand our market presence.
This is a high-impact role for a motivated sales professional who understands industrial operations, thrives in the field, and has a proven track record of generating revenue through relationship-based selling.
Position Summary
The Industrial Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing long-term customer partnerships, and growing territory revenue throughout Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio. The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with plant personnel, maintenance teams, operations leaders, and decision-makers within industrial and energy-related facilities.
This is not an entry-level sales position. We are seeking a self-driven professional with industrial sales experience and a strong understanding of field service operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand Sharp Maintenance Services' presence throughout the Marcellus and Utica markets
- Build relationships with plant managers, maintenance managers, operations leaders, engineers, and key decision-makers
- Identify, develop, and close opportunities for:
- Fin fan and heat exchanger cleaning
- Hydrolancing and hydroblasting services
- Industrial cleaning and maintenance solutions
- Conduct customer visits, facility walkdowns, and field assessments
- Prepare proposals, bids, service agreements, and customer presentations
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently achieve revenue growth objectives
- Track sales activities and opportunities through company CRM systems
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 4 years of industrial sales experience
- Proven ability to generate new business and manage customer relationships
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout assigned territory
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening and maintain a drug- and alcohol-free status while employed
Preferred:
- Existing relationships within the oil & gas, midstream, refinery, petrochemical, or industrial sectors
- Experience selling industrial services, maintenance services, or field-based solutions
- Knowledge of refinery, upstream, midstream, or processing facility operations
- Experience working with plant maintenance and reliability personnel
