Overview
Join our dynamic logistics team as a Shipping Associate and become a vital part of our supply chain operations! We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized Shipping and Receiving Associate to manage our daily logistics operations. In this role, you will prepare outgoing products for transit, verify and log incoming inventory, operate warehouse equipment, and maintain immaculate digital and physical records. Your primary goal is to ensure the safe, efficient, and error-free movement of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Preparation: Review orders, pick items from warehouse shelves, and package goods securely using appropriate protective wrap and boxes.
- Logistics Documentation: Generate shipping labels, packing slips and bills of lading (BOL) using standard shipping software.
- Carrier Coordination: Schedule shipment pickups, coordinate dock times with freight trucks, and hand over freight to couriers.
- Inbound Receiving: Safely unload incoming delivery trucks and cross-reference physical arrivals against product invoices or purchase orders.
- Quality Control: Inspect all incoming and outgoing goods for discrepancies, inventory shortages, or structural damage, reporting issues immediately.
- Equipment Operation: Safely utilize forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and hand carts to maneuver pallets and heavy shipments.
- Safety & Upkeep: Keep the loading dock and stockroom organized, hazard-free, and compliant with safety regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Experience: Minimum of 6 to 12 months of warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
- Certifications: Forklift operator certification is highly preferred (or must be obtainable within the first 90 days of employment).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and comfortably lift to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with basic computer systems, Microsoft Office, and shipping platforms like UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, or ERP networks (e.g., SAP).
- Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, time management skills, and clear communication habits.
Working Conditions & Benefits
- Schedule: Standard full-time shifts Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm (occasional OT)
