Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper / Laundry Worker to join our team at an award-winning upscale property. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be reliable. Previous housekeeping / laundry experience a must. Background check required. We’re looking for someone who cares about cleanliness, enjoys working in a serene setting, and values being part of a dedicated team.
This is a part time and seasonal position. Up to 5 days a week during the busy months. Fewer days per week as we get into November and closer to the December closing of the inn. Hours are 8 am - 3 pm.
This is a seasonal inn that is open from April through mid-December.

Housekeeper / Laundry Worker Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities according to established standards.
- Manage housekeeping tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Assist with Laundry and kitchen clean-up, on occasion.
- Ensure all linens and towels are clean, organized, and properly stocked.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used efficiently.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to uphold high standards of cleanliness and service.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning and floor care.
- Clean and dry daily laundry for our boutique inn including bed linens, towels, and more. This will take up the bulk of your working day.
- Ensure all linens and towels are clean, organized, and properly stocked.
- Maintain inventory of laundry supplies, ensuring they are used efficiently.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping is a must.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to manage time efficiently.
- Background check is required.
