Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and staff management
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to foster a high-performing workforce
- Manage payroll, scheduling, and employee orientation to ensure smooth operations
- Oversee merchandising, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to maximize sales potential
- Handle cash management duties such as cashiering, cash handling, and balancing registers accurately
- Maintain inventory levels through purchasing, stock replenishment, and inventory management systems
- Implement effective marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and store procedures
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions and sales tracking efficiently
- Monitor store performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervising responsibilities
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, budgeting, bookkeeping, and sales management
- Knowledge of POS systems, inventory control techniques, and merchandising strategies
- Experience with employee orientation, training & development programs, and recruiting processes
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties confidently
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across shift management tasks
- Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is advantageous
- Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Multilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
