Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to help maintain an apartment community inside and out.
If you have experience with general maintenance, enjoy fixing problems, and take pride in keeping a property looking its best, this could be a great opportunity!

What You’ll Do:
- Complete resident maintenance requests and repairs
- Perform painting, drywall repair, minor electrical work, and general maintenance
- Prepare apartments for new residents, including cleaning, repairs, flooring removal, appliance moving, and touch-up work
- Conduct preventative maintenance and property inspections
- Maintain common areas, grounds, storage areas, and curb appeal
- Assist with snow and ice removal during winter weather
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed
- Maintain tools, supplies, keys, and maintenance records
- Work with property management and outside vendors on repairs and projects

What We’re Looking For:
- General maintenance or property maintenance experience preferred
- Working knowledge of painting, drywall, minor electrical, and power tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Dependable with good communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to climb ladders and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to occasionally travel to properties within approximately 60 miles
- Willingness to participate in an after-hours emergency maintenance rotation
