Qualifications
●Is a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, and is currently licensed as an RN through the State Board of Nursing.
● Has a minimum of one year's nursing experience, preferably with home care experience.
● Possesses and maintains good physical stamina and can present a pre-employment health clearance.
● Must be a licensed driver with at least one-year clean driving record.
●Has excellent writing and charting skills.
● Can pass a background check and drug screen
Duties
- Proven experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably as a Director of Nursing or similar position.
- Conduct VA Nurse Visits
- Communicate Effectively and Regularly with the VA to promote a good relationship and help our Veterans
- Create Plan of Cares for Home Care Clients based on needs of the client
- Maintain client and caregiver files in an organized manner
- Experience in home health settings, hospice care, or nursing homes is highly desirable.
- Excellent supervisory skills with a demonstrated ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Compassion and desire to help elderly clients
- Strong communication and training skills to communicate and provide training for both caregivers and clients
