Little Ivy Academy has been leading children in building and coding robots and video games, creating digital art & videos, and more for 14 years and counting. We’re fun, we’re hands-on, and we’re passionately devoted to making STEAM education accessible to kids of all ability levels. The kids we serve today need to be prepared for the world of tomorrow. We need someone who loves being in the room where it happens — and wants to spend their summer doing something that actually matters.
The Role
As our Site Supervisor, you’re the boots-on-the-ground presence that makes our summer camps run . That means:
Leading with Fun — Your primary job is to ensure that our campers and their families have an experience they’ll never forget. That means making sure everyone feels welcomed every single day and that programs are delivered with excellence. You’re the eyes on the ground — watching how your team performs, catching what needs correcting, and stepping in when the situation calls for it.
Owning Your Site — Materials are organized, lessons are prepped, and nothing falls through the cracks before the first camper walks in the door. You’re responsible for maintaining a safe and fun camp environment at your location — every day, without exception.
Keeping Everyone Connected — You help onboard and support your team, keep communications flowing to parents and staff, and make sure your Program Coordinator always knows what’s happening on the ground. When families feel informed and your team feels supported, camp runs the way it’s supposed to.
This is a seasonal summer position at $20/hr. It’s hands-on, it’s meaningful, and it’s the kind of experience that builds real skills fast.
You’re a Great Fit If…
You have a genuine passion for working with kids and being present with them every day. You’re the kind of person who remembers campers’ names on day two and makes every family feel like their kid is in the best possible hands.
You’re a natural leader who doesn’t need to be the loudest person in the room. You keep your team focused, catch problems early, and handle the unexpected without losing your cool.
You’re warm, proactive, and highly organized — the kind of person who brings problems to your supervisor before they even know there’s an issue.
You’re comfortable with technology and genuinely enjoy learning new things — whether that’s testing a new curriculum, picking up a new tool, or figuring out something alongside your campers.
You’re especially qualified if you’ve previously worked as:
- A supervisor at a summer camp
- A teacher, tutor, or classroom aide
- An after-school coordinator or youth program leader
- A college student or recent grad with retail or restaurant management experience looking to build real leadership experience in education or youth development
