Licensed Optician (Full-Time)
Eye Lounge is a new luxury boutique optometry and optical practice opening in Downtown Miami. We are looking for a licensed Florida optician who is passionate about eyewear, enjoys building relationships with patients, and wants to be part of creating something special from the ground up.
This is an opportunity to join a modern, independent practice where you'll have the autonomy to make an impact—not just clock in and out.
Responsibilities
- Style patients in premium eyewear and recommend lens solutions
- Dispense, adjust, and repair eyewear
- Manage eyewear orders and communicate with optical laboratories
- Verify vision benefits and explain insurance coverage
- Schedule appointments and assist with front-office operations
- Maintain inventory and merchandising
- Confidently manage the optical and front office independently during designated shifts
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience from start to finish
Qualifications
- Active Florida Optician License (required)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Passion for eyewear, fashion, and helping people look and see their best
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently
- Optical experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits
