Summary: The cashier is expected to ensure every customer exits our store on a high note, by delivering fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience. The Cashier scans and bags items accurately and efficiently, while managing the cash register, payments and returns.
Job Duties:
- Greet and acknowledge every customer
- Product knowledge, promotions, advertisements
- Merchandising and housekeeping
- Deliver excellent customer service at the register
- Process sales transactions
- Answer customer questions about products and services
- Accept payment while maintaining accountabilities
- Maintain adequate change in the cash drawer and request additional change
- Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts
- Report issues with equipment
- Other Duties as assigned
