Job Summary
As a Smoothie King Crew Member or Team Captain, you will be the vibrant face of our brand, delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving our signature smoothies and food offerings. Whether you're blending up a storm or leading your team, your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back for more.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve smoothies, snacks, and food items efficiently and accurately using various POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and ensuring their experience exceeds expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food handling, preparation, and sanitation practices.
- Manage cash handling duties with accuracy, including cashiering and basic retail math to process transactions smoothly.
- Assist in inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly for optimal operation.
- Support team members in food preparation tasks, adhering to food safety guidelines and quality standards.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and supporting fellow crew members.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, café work, or retail sales is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining high-quality service.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and proper sanitation standards.
- Barista or coffee experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Pay: $9.00 - $13.00 per hour
