American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position at a critical access hospital, requiring at least 2 years of experience and critical access hospital background.

Acute care setting in a 6-bed private ICU unit
-
Unit functions as a high-acuity step-down/low-acuity ICU hybrid and serves as the hospital's current COVID unit
-
Common diagnoses include sepsis, COPD, DKA, overdose, renal conditions, surgical cases, and respiratory issues
-
Patient ratio is 1:2

Charting system is TruBridge (CPSI-Evident) - experience required
-
Day shift, 12-hour shifts (7am–7pm), three shifts per week
-
Every other weekend required
-
Floating to the Tele/Med-Surg unit is expected
-
13-week assignment
-
Active OH or compact RN license required
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
-
Critical access hospital experience required
-
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS

BSN not required
-
One shift of floor orientation will be provided
-
An ECG exam will be administered on the first day

Holidays are typically not required, but may be scheduled depending on permanent staff availability
-
Royal blue scrubs required

Adequate PPE supply on unit; N95 masks are in use
