Job Title: Manufacturing Shipping Clerk

Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Shipping Clerk is responsible for preparing, packaging, and shipping finished goods, components, and materials to customers, suppliers, and internal departments. This role ensures that all outgoing and incoming shipments are accurate, properly documented, and handled efficiently to support production and customer delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities:

Knowledge of customer portals and ASN processes.

Understanding international shipping and required documentation.

Schedule pickups and deliveries with freight carriers and courier services

Track shipments and resolve delay or delivery issues

Prepare and process shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing lists, shipping labels and customs forms.

Verify and record outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy in quantities, product types, and destination.

Package materials and finished products securely according to company and carrier requirements.

Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials and deliveries.

Monitor shipping supplies and request replenishments in a timely manner.

Maintain accurate inventory and shipping/receiving records in ERP or inventory management systems.

Process returns and manages reverse logistics.

Collaborate with production, inventory control, and quality departments to ensure shipping accuracy and timeliness.

Communicate with warehouse, production, sales, and customer service teams.

Ability to work well with others, providing internal and external customer support.

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

Comply with all safety, quality, and company policies.

High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2-5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations (manufacturing environment preferred).

Familiarity with shipping software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of domestic and international shipping procedures and documentation.

Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to juggle multiple tasks while prioritizing to meet deadlines.

Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Ability to stand, squat, bend for up to 8 hours.
