Assistant Buyer
Forman Mills is a retail outlet superstore (off-price retailer), with our Corporate Office based out of Cinnaminson, New Jersey. We specialize in designer clothing for the entire family. We currently have 45 stores in 10 markets. Our growth plans over the next 3-5 years is extensive, offering opportunities for anyone looking for personal success and career growth.
We are looking for energetic, self motivated, analytical individuals with a passion for merchandising and an eye for fashion to assist our clothing buyer’s with assortment planning, distribution, inventory analysis and marketing. This is a great opportunity to learn our business from the bottom up and acquire off price buying skills.. Requirements include strong administrative, analytical, communication and negotiation skills. Position is based onsite in Cinnaminson, NJ.
Requirements:
1- 2 years of experience in a Assistant Buyer position in retail environment
- excellent communications and people skills
- computer literate; strong excel spreadsheet skills
- analytical/detail oriented
- Transportation required
Fashion Merchandising degree - preferred.
