Position Details
We’re seeking an experienced part-time cook to join our assisted living community.
- Schedule: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Hours: 24 per week
- Location: 1835 12th Street, Manistee, MI 49660
At Green Acres, we cook from scratch and serve wholesome, home-style meals for our residents. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a relaxed, team-oriented atmosphere and truly wants to make a difference.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve home-style meals for approximately 32 residents
- Follow menus and dietary guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent dining experiences
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Cooking experience required (scratch cooking preferred)
- Dependable, team-oriented, and attentive to detail
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
