Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve deli products including sandwiches, salads, and hot food items
-Prepare made to order sandwiches
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area
- Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Operate deli equipment such as slicers, ovens, and fryers
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Stock and rotate deli products to ensure freshness
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area
-Assist with ordering and restocking
Skills:
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Knowledge of retail math for pricing and calculating discounts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus
