Safety & Training Coordinator
The Safety & Training Coordinator will:
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA & OSHA regulations
- Assist with the development and continuous improvement of driver training programs.
- Monitor trainee progress through evaluations and communication with trainers.
- Assist with compliance reviews and regulatory audits as assigned.
- Monitor CDL, medical certification, and qualification expiration dates.
- Review safety events, coaching opportunities, Hours of Service compliance, and driver performance trends.
- Support initiatives focused on driver engagement and retention.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to assist with accidents, incidents, and driver emergencies.
- Over see road tests for new drivers and drivers returning to work
The following experience and training is required:
- Class A CDL License
- Previous experience in transportation, safety, training, compliance, fleet operations, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and transportation-related software systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
The following experience is preferred but not required:
- CDS certificate or some other similar safety training
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
