We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Manager in Training - Subway. Duties
- Assist in daily store operations including inventory management, purchasing, and merchandising to ensure optimal product availability and presentation.
- Support employee orientation, training, and development to foster a high-performing team environment.
- Participate in interviewing and recruiting efforts to build a skilled workforce aligned with company standards.
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, POS systems, and store bookkeeping tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Oversee shift management, ensuring smooth customer service flow and adherence to operational procedures.
- Implement sales strategies, monitor retail math and pricing adjustments to meet sales goals.
- Supervise team members’ performance, provide coaching, and promote excellent customer service standards.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase store visibility and sales.
- Maintain organizational skills for stock control, inventory management, and inventory control processes.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while fostering a positive work environment through effective communication skills.
Experience
- Previous supervisory or assistant manager experience in retail or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management or employee supervision.
- Strong background in retail sales, cash handling, POS systems, and inventory control.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are considered an asset for engaging diverse customer bases.
- Experience in marketing, merchandising, or grocery store operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
