Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Handyman to join our team and ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and improvement tasks across our property. Your expertise will help create a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for everyone. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and general handyman duties.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to resolve issues efficiently.
- Assist with installation of fixtures, furniture, appliances, and other equipment as needed.
- Maintain organized records of work performed, parts used, and inspections completed.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local building codes.
- Collaborate with vendors or contractors for specialized repairs or projects beyond in-house capabilities.
Experience
- Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar multi-skilled maintenance role.
- Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and management.
- Valid driver’s license preferred for transportation to different site locations.
