We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Paralegal/Office Manager to join our legal team. - Provide comprehensive legal administrative support across multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, UCC law, immigration law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, and personal injury law.
- Manage legal case files using document management systems such as Clio; ensure accurate filing, data entry, and retrieval of documents.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and client advisories.
- Assist attorneys with drafting legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, memos, and correspondence; proofread and edit for accuracy and clarity.
- Review and organize legal documents for litigation or transactional purposes; perform document review and analysis to identify relevant information.
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and interviews; handle executive administrative tasks including calendar management and travel arrangements.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, courts, vendors, and internal teams via phone etiquette and professional correspondence.
- Support project management initiatives by tracking deadlines, managing workflows, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across various practice areas. Experience
- Proven paralegal experience supporting multiple legal disciplines such as Probate, Trust and estate litigation.
- Demonstrated proficiency with legal research tools; familiarity with legal case management software is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing large volumes of documents in document management systems.
- Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents; keen proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy in all communications.
- Prior experience in a law office environment involving clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, transcription, and general administrative support.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
