The Deck House Tavern is seeking an energetic and friendly server/bartender who thrives in a fast-paced environment at a year-round busy restaurant. Candidates must take pride in their job and be comfortable with guest interactions. Dedication to providing a high standard of customer service and strong level of awareness are essential. Candidate must also be a committed team member who is on time with a strong work ethic.
Hiring for year-round positions. Base pay plus Tips.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must be available a minimum of 4 shifts per week some shifts serving and some on bar.
- Must have open availability for the weekends.
- Five years previous serving experience and TWO years bartending experience in a full service restaurant.
- Great knowledge of beer, wine, and mixed drinks and is familiar with Maine's local breweries.
- Alcohol TIPS training certified or completed within 2 weeks of hire.
- Must be able to complete training program and completely learn food and drink menus.
- Must be able to use handheld tablet to place orders and cash out tables.
