Relief Cook 5:00am-1:30pm
We are an 87 bed skilled/long term care facility in Canton, MS. We are located just off the Nissan Parkway next to UMMC Madison. We are looking for a quality Cook to join our team and be a part of this exciting opportunity to serve our residents in this modern new facility.
Candidate should be able to read and follow recipes, read resident meal tickets, work clean, follow ServSafe food safety guidelines, time management, quantity control and produce quality food. Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written instructions
- Has the ability to work well with co-workers
- Must sanitize equipment, utensils, and work area
- Assist with food preparation, tray assembly, and service
- Washing dishes and other duties as assigned
- Frequently standing/walking, bending/stooping, lifting/handling, carrying, pushing/pulling, reaching, speaking, hearing and seeing
Job Type: Full-time
