Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Operator to join our team. We Are Based in Pittsgrove, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing roadside assistance and towing services to customers in a timely and professional manner. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, safety, and the ability to handle various towing scenarios with expertise.
Duties
- Operate flatbed and traditional tow trucks to transport vehicles safely.
- Respond promptly to service calls for towing and roadside assistance.
- Perform automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle conditions before towing.
- Load and unload vehicles with care, ensuring no damage occurs during the process.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.
- Manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor in stressful situations.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on tow trucks to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Document all services rendered and maintain accurate records of each job.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, must have a valid license.
- Familiarity with automotive repair and diagnostics is highly desirable.
- Experience preferred, but willing to train.
- Strong conflict management skills to handle customer interactions professionally.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Pay: $160.00 - $300.00 per day
