We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of staff during shifts to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide training and support to team members, fostering a positive work environment.
- Manage cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in transactions and reporting.
- Assist in kitchen management tasks, including inventory control and food safety compliance.
- Collaborate with management on budgeting and financial planning for the shift.
- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during the shift promptly.
- Oversee banquet services when applicable, ensuring all events run smoothly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong skills in cash handling and financial management.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
- Experience with budgeting processes is a plus.
- Familiarity with casual dining environments, bartending, or catering services is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a diverse team.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
