SOLIS ENG INC is an EPC contractor executing battery-plant hook-up construction for a major EV battery manufacturer in Arizona. We have an immediate need for an experienced commercial construction professional to serve as our Arizona ROC Qualifying Party (B-1, General Commercial) and lead field operations for our Arizona projects.
This is a direct, full-time W-2 employment role in which the Qualifying Party actively directs on-site construction — not a name-only, subcontracted, or license-lease arrangement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as ROC Qualifying Party (B-1) for SOLIS's Arizona contractor license
- Direct daily field operations, subcontractor coordination, and QC for hook-up scopes
- Own permitting, inspections, and AHJ (city/county) relationships
- Enforce the site safety program and owner contractor requirements
- Support estimating and constructability reviews with the PM team
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently hold — or have held within the last 5 years — active Arizona ROC Qualifying Party status in B-1 (General Commercial) or a comparable classification (Arizona trade-exam waiver eligible). Preferred / fastest path.
- Out-of-state applicants holding a comparable active commercial GC license/QP status within the last 5 years are encouraged to apply (Arizona trade-exam waiver may apply; the Arizona Statutes & Rules exam is still required)
- Also considered (longer timeline): 4+ years commercial construction experience qualifying for ROC B-1, with willingness to sit for the PSI exams
- Must be available to associate with the company and complete the ROC application promptly (immediate need)
- 7+ years commercial/industrial construction experience
- Clean background (ROC background check required)
- OSHA 30 (Construction)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Industrial/manufacturing plant experience (battery, semiconductor, data center)
- Additional ROC classifications (e.g., L-11 Commercial Electrical)
- Experience with tier-1 GC or owner-direct industrial programs

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
