Duties
- Lead and motivate the retail sales team to meet and exceed sales targets through effective coaching and performance management.
- Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, merchandising, pricing, and stock replenishment to ensure optimal product availability.
- Manage employee orientation, training & development programs, including interviewing and recruiting new team members to build a strong workforce.
- Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system operations with accuracy and integrity.
- Maintain inventory control through regular stock audits, purchasing decisions, and implementing efficient inventory management practices.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints promptly, and maintaining high standards of phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Supervise shift management, operational procedures, and store safety protocols to foster a secure shopping environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in retail store management with strong leadership capabilities in supervising teams.
- Excellent negotiation skills for vendor relations, purchasing negotiations, and conflict resolution.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities such as inventory control, merchandising, and staff scheduling.
- Proficiency with POS systems, retail math calculations, budgeting, and operational management tools.
- Effective managerial communication skills for training staff, conducting interviews, and providing clear instructions.
- Experience in retail industry sales team management is a plus; familiarity with retail store product knowledge is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
- Knowledge of merchandising strategies, pricing techniques, and sales management principles.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in bookkeeping and payroll tasks.

Pay: $67,482.77 - $71,442.47 per year
