We are seeking an experienced and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) – House Supervisor to join our team for a night-shift assignment in California. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN with strong leadership, clinical judgment, and hospital supervisory experience.
Position Overview
The House Supervisor will oversee night-shift hospital operations, support nursing staff, coordinate patient care, and ensure that clinical and administrative needs are addressed efficiently throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff across hospital units during the night shift.
- Coordinate patient care and ensure appropriate staffing and resource utilization.
- Serve as a clinical resource for nurses and other healthcare team members.
- Respond to patient care concerns and assist with urgent clinical situations.
- Collaborate with physicians, department leaders, and other interdisciplinary teams.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety standards.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient flow as needed.
- Escalate significant clinical, staffing, or operational issues to appropriate leadership.
- Promote a safe, efficient, and positive environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
- Active California RN License – Required
- BLS – Required
- ACLS – Required
- PALS – Required
- NRP – Preferred
- Previous House Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or nursing leadership experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively during the night shift.
Additional Requirement
- Proof of negative TB screening within 12 months of the contract start date is required.
