About Us
The Fireplace Guys is one of Minnesota's premier gas fireplace companies, specializing in gas fireplace installation, service, and maintenance. Our busiest season is fall through winter, and we're looking for an experienced technician to help us deliver exceptional service during our peak months.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys steady seasonal work with a professional team. High-performing seasonal employees may also be considered for future seasons or year-round opportunities as business needs evolve.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair residential gas fireplaces
- Perform annual cleanings and inspections.
- Troubleshoot ignition, electrical, and gas supply issues
- Replace defective components
- Educate homeowners on proper operation and maintenance
- Complete service documentation using a mobile device
Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a variety of residential environments
Preferred
- NFI Gas Specialist Certification
- Experience servicing gas fireplaces, HVAC equipment, gas appliances, or related systems
