American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Stepdown) Staffing Pool position in Asheville, NC, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and a night shift schedule.

Night shift position, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

13-week travel contract

Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Stepdown) setting within a large 815-bed regional referral hospital
-
Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and Magnet®-designated facility
-
Active NC or Compact RN license required
-
Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Stepdown RN experience required

Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required for PCU RNs
-
US SSN and date of birth required for consideration

One professional reference required (two required if the candidate is from Florida or Missouri)

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
