Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards and recipes
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Manage food inventory, restock supplies, and ensure timely food preparation during busy hours
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting overall restaurant operations
- Follow all food handling procedures and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or cafes is advantageous but not mandatory
