Position Summary:
The Showroom Sales Representative is responsible for selling high performance aftermarket automotive parts to the public. The Showroom Sales Representative will work closely with multiple departments across the organization to provide customers with an industry-leading customer experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Sell high performance and racing products via phone sales and showroom store front.
· Understand distinct performance segments Lane Automotive sells to, and customers’ needs within those segments.
· Identify customer expectations and exercise decision-making ability to determine the best products to meet customer needs.
· Perform data entry of customer orders into order system.
· Provide product price quotes to customers.
·Responsible for the assigned cash drawer and the nightly reconciliation of all transactions and documentation from that day.
· Assist the Showroom in daily tasks, answering phones, emails, customer questions/inquiries, etc.
· Partake in overall Showroom housekeeping including cleaning, organizing, reducing clutter, dusting, sweeping, etc.
· Participate in seminars and other training as required.
· May attend industry events (Company Events, Trade Shows, and Motorsports Events) as a strong brand representative.
· Work in a team environment.
· Promote and maintain a clean and safe work environment by complying with procedures, policies, training, and regulations.
· Ensure established policies and procedures are followed.
· Participate in continuous improvement project team activities.
· Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
· High School diploma or GED, required.
· 1-3 years of sales experience, preferred.
· Experience with SxE and IRMS, preferred.
· Must have significant and detailed product knowledge of performance aftermarket automotive parts.
· Must have a solid understanding with and a passion for, the technical and mechanical aspects of the performance motorsports aftermarket.
Skills & Abilities:
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other job-related equipment and software.

Physical Demands:
This is an office type position and a general warehouse position that requires sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and use of hands continuously for eight hours. This position requires lifting/moving up to 50 pounds and occasionally with assistance lifting/moving up to 100 pounds. This position requires extended amounts of time walking and climbing stairs. This position may require work time beyond an eight-hour shift/40-hour week. This position requires the operation of basic office equipment.
