Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project scope and specifications
- Prepare surfaces through plastering, caulking, stucco application, or masonry work to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paint using airless spray equipment, brushes, rollers, or other tools while maintaining safety standards
- Perform detailed trim carpentry, fixture installation, drywall finishing, and frame carpentry as needed for project completion
- Conduct construction site assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Execute renovation and restoration projects by utilizing carpentry skills such as remodeling and concrete finishing
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for tasks including welding, masonry work, and maintenance repairs
- Read and interpret blueprints or schematics accurately to guide project execution in both residential and commercial settings
- Assist with industrial painting projects requiring specialized techniques such as airless spray or specialized coatings
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating, residential painting, commercial painting, or construction site work
- Strong knowledge of color theory and surface preparation techniques like plastering and caulking
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and airless paint spraying systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with precision
- Hands-on experience with renovation projects including remodeling, restoration, drywall finishing, and fixture installation
- Familiarity with construction safety standards and site hazard assessments
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Previous handyman experience or related trades such as carpentry or masonry is highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs
