Position Summary:
This individual is responsible for selling the total hotel through direct sales efforts. The Sales Manager is also expected to have constant involvement with guests and community . This is a position requiring active, vigorous selling and foresight.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall account management, business generation, and sales prospecting for assigned hotel property to meet and exceed revenue goals.
- Responds to all sales inquiries in a timely manner and with a sense of urgency.
- Participates in Revenue Management strategies using such tools as Star reports, demand analysis and applicable reporting systems.
- Conducts a required number of sales activities including outside cold calls, telemarketing, e-mailing and prospecting.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Experience with STS preferred.
- Ability to interpret and perform basic computer functions, including MS Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong proficiency in Revenue Management strategies.
