Job Summary

Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, feeding, and toileting to promote independence and improve functional skills.
- Collect accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans.
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a licensed behavior analyst.
- Support clients with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental disorders by teaching new skills and managing challenging behaviors through positive reinforcement techniques.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, behavioral records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, educators, and healthcare providers to ensure consistency across environments and support client needs.
- Follow ethical guidelines outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts while delivering direct behavioral therapy.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially within special education or behavioral health settings.
- RBT certification needed.
- Hands-on experience implementing ABA therapy protocols and supporting clients with autism spectrum disorders.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation practices.
- Home-based behavioral experience is preferred, along with school experience working with neurodiverse populations.
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies, data collection methods, and client communication techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while adhering to confidentiality standards such as HIPAA.
