Cannabis Delivery Driver / Fulfillment Associate – Metrc Experience Required

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Cannabis Delivery Driver / Fulfillment Associate to support deliveries to licensed dispensaries throughout New York.
This position is responsible for safely transporting cannabis products, confirming deliveries, collecting payments when required, and helping with warehouse fulfillment and order preparation. The ideal candidate is organized, professional with customers, comfortable working independently in the field, and knowledgeable about Metrc compliance and cannabis transportation procedures.
Responsibilities
- Safely deliver cannabis products to licensed dispensaries and approved retail accounts.
- Verify that each order is complete, accurate, secure, and properly documented before leaving the facility.
- Review Metrc manifests, package information, transfer documentation, invoices, and delivery paperwork before each route.
- Confirm customer identity, delivery details, invoices, manifests, and receiving paperwork at each stop.
- Ensure all orders are delivered accurately, on time, and in compliance with company procedures, Metrc requirements, and state regulations.
- Collect payments, checks, or required documentation from accounts when applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of payments collected, delivery confirmations, signatures, invoices, manifests, and any discrepancies.
- Assist dispensary staff with checking in orders, confirming package counts, reconciling paperwork, and resolving basic delivery discrepancies.
- Communicate delivery status, delays, failed deliveries, payment issues, or inventory discrepancies to the operations team immediately.
- Help with warehouse fulfillment, picking, packing, labeling, staging, and preparing orders when needed.
- Assist with loading and unloading products while maintaining product security and organization.
- Maintain proper chain-of-custody procedures throughout the delivery process.
- Inspect vehicle condition daily and report maintenance, safety, or security concerns promptly.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive customer service experience at all accounts.
- Follow all company security procedures, route protocols, cash-handling procedures, and cannabis transportation requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Prior delivery, logistics, fulfillment, warehouse, or cannabis industry experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Metrc, including manifests, package verification, transfer documentation, delivery confirmation, and basic compliance procedures.
- Understanding of New York cannabis transportation, inventory, chain-of-custody, and cash-handling requirements.
- Ability to accurately reconcile delivery paperwork, received quantities, payments, and any discrepancies before leaving an account.
- Comfortable driving throughout New York City and surrounding areas.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow delivery, cash-handling, inventory, and documentation procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time efficiently.
- Comfortable lifting and moving boxes or inventory as needed.
- Strong communication skills and professional customer service demeanor.
- Ability to work independently while staying accountable to schedules and procedures.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
