Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems according to detailed technical drawings, schematics, and production documents. Duties
- Interpret and follow technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and manufacturing documents to assemble mechanical components accurately.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math to verify dimensions and ensure assembly accuracy.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial tools safely and effectively during assembly processes.
- Perform mechanical assembly tasks involving soldering, machining, and the use of mechanical blueprints to meet specifications.
- Conduct manual handling tasks including lifting, positioning, and securing parts while adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly issues and ensure production deadlines are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards related to PPE use and equipment handling.
Requirements
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of mechanical knowledge.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and production documents.
- Familiarity with measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment safely.
- Strong shop math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations during assembly.
- Knowledge of soldering techniques and machining processes is preferred.
- Commitment to safety practices including proper PPE use and manual handling procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical instructions accurately.
