Experienced Journeyman Electrician (Service Calls Only) – West Los Angeles
We are hiring a service electrician (not a construction electrician).
This role is for someone who can run residential and light commercial service calls alone or with a helper, talk to homeowners confidently, troubleshoot, write an estimate on site, get approval, complete the work cleanly, and document everything in our mobile system.
What job actually is
- Daily electrical service calls in residential homes and small businesses
- Troubleshooting, repairs, replacements, additions, and upgrades
- You work directly with the customer and own the call from arrival to completion (with full office support)
- Perform electrical estimates, troubleshooting, installations, repairs, and maintenance.
Requirements
- 5+ years as a service electrician
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Commercial experience
- Solid knowledge of the National Electrical Code
- Comfortable presenting options, pricing, and closing work on site
- Clear communication with customers and our office team
- Punctual, reliable, self-managed, clean work habits
- Must live within 10 miles of West Los Angeles
- Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening

- Provide an estimate, get approval, complete the work
- Keep the job site clean and leave the customer happy
- Take photos, write notes, and close out the job in our mobile app
- Communicate updates
How we work
- Our office screens the call, schedules it for you, and handles follow-ups and back-end work so you can focus on fieldwork.
- You drive to the job, meet the customer, troubleshoot, present solutions and pricing, close the job, complete the work, document it with photos and notes, and invoice through the app to receive payment.
Work Volume and Expected Start
- Electrical service calls may be less frequent during the initial period, so the selected electrician should expect a slow and gradual start.
- Work volume and earnings may vary as we continue building a more consistent service schedule. This position is best for someone who understands that regular daily calls may take time to develop.

West Los Angeles and nearby: Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, Santa Monica, Venice, Mar Vista, and surrounding areas.

- You are mainly a construction electrician (rough-in, new builds, large crews)
- You are looking for helper work or labor work
- You need constant supervision
- You are not comfortable speaking with homeowners and closing work
