Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or license (state-specific or eligibility for reciprocity)
- Experience in K-12 school setting, with strong knowledge of special education law and processes
- Proficiency in administering and interpreting psychoeducational and psychological assessments
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations for students in special education
- Review educational records, outside reports, and relevant history
- Administer, score, and interpret a range of assessment tools (psychological, cognitive, behavioral, social-emotional, academic, adaptive)
- Perform classroom observations and collect data from teachers and caregivers
- Attend eligibility determination and IEP meetings
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, specialists, and administrators
- Maintain compliance with IDEA, FERPA, and all state and school policies
- Complete required documentation within set timelines
