Key Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and create a welcoming first impression

Manage reservations, waitlists, and accurately estimate wait times

Guide guests to their tables and provide menus and basic information

Communicate clearly with front-of-house staff regarding new parties and seating flow

Answer phones professionally and assist with large party bookings

Handle guest concerns with urgency, empathy, and professionalism

Optimize seating assignments to evenly distribute workload among servers

Follow daily checklists, SOPs, and company policies

Be punctual, organized, positive, and able to perform under pressure
Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in hospitality; Barbeque or Japanese cuisine experience preferred

Strong oral and written communication skills, including phone etiquette and conflict resolution

Passion for providing exceptional service and creating memorable dining experiences

Flexible availability, including late-night shifts, weekends, and holidays

Ability to stand for extended periods and handle a fast-paced environment

Fluent in English; bilingual skills a plus

Must be authorized to work in the United States
