As an Millwork Inside Sales Representative with Door-Depot Inc., you will represent the company by dealing with and networking for new customers in order to accomodate sales in our Chicago locatioin. You will collect data on customer needs and design specifications for customers in developing sales proposals and estimates. You will also provide superior customer service and ensure that our customers are satisfied with their purchases.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Developing an understanding of customer's needs and matching those needs with company products and service
- assisting contractors, builders, remodelers, dealers and homeowners with product selection for doors, trim and related millwork products
- Estimating the amount and cost of materials and reviewing for accuracy
- preparing quotes and estimates based on customer plans, measurements and specifications provided by customers
- processing sales orders accurately in the company system
- understanding and learning product knowledge for all products sold
- following up on quotes to convert them to sales
- coordinating with warehouse, purchasing, delivery personnel to ensure orders are correct and on schedule
- tracking inventory availability and lead times from manufacturers
- handling customer service issues
- Carrying out other duties as assigned
- sales commission is paid along with hourly rate with overtime
