Unarmed Security Officer - Part Time/Full Time

Job Overview:

Synergy Security Services is looking to hire seasoned Unarmed Security Officer for Port Wentworth, GA

Responsibilities for Security Officer includes but are not limited to:

· In gate and out gate (port) containers and truck trailers into a computer system as they arrive and depart premises

· Identify potential security risks and respond accordingly.

· Monitor entry & egress of equipment (trucks, cars, etc.) on the client’s property

· Assist employees and visitors with any concerns they might have

· Provide parking lot/yard surveillance

· Be able to work client’s computer software

· Respond to emergencies and incidents within designated areas promptly and accordingly

· Complete incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents

Qualifications for Security Officer:

· High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required

· Ability to perform continuous physical exertion as needed

· Must be at least 21 years old

· Valid Driving License

· Ability to pass a background check

· Previous security work experience preferred

· Ability to stay levelheaded and respond quickly in stressful situations

· Proficient written and oral communication skills

· Working knowledge of basic security techniques

· Comfortable Kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods of time without assistance.

Starting Pay Rate - $17 per hour

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
