Jim Shorkey is in search of a Parts Advisor to join our team.
The Parts Advisor is responsible for Inventory accuracy, parts locations, and organization of materials throughout the dealership.
Job duties include, but not limited to:

Work with parts manager to locate any parts, not in stock.

Complete special-order part request for any parts that need to be ordered for the customer.

Oversee the automotive parts sales process from customer inquiry to finding the part to invoicing the customer.

Process daily parts order with CDK scanner

Pull parts orders for technician and counter people.

Inventory and Stocking
-
Managing stock
-
Parts lookup
-
Disbursing parts to technicians

Waiting on retail customers

Requirements:
Prior dealership parts and CDK experience is a huge plus.-
Must be over 18
-
Must have a valid driver's license with a clean MVR
-
Must be able to pass a drug test

Knowledge and understanding of inventory

Knowledge and understanding of receiving
-
Possess phone skills for both employee and customer interactions
-
Have basic computer skills. Training will be provided for necessary programs

Dealership experience not required.
