Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Warranty Administrator / Service Advisor to join our diesel engine service team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers requeting service, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from start to finish. You will manage warranty claims, coordinate repairs with technicians, and facilitate effective communication between customers and the service department. Your energetic approach and thorough understanding of diesel repair processes will help drive customer satisfaction, streamline operations, and maximize service revenue.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their needs and scheduling service appointments efficiently
- Explain repair procedures, estimate costs, and time frames.
- Process warranty claims accurately by reviewing vehicle history, diagnosing issues, and submitting detailed documentation to manufacturers or warranty providers
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of services.
- Maintain detailed records of all service transactions, warranty claims, and customer interactions to ensure transparency and accountability
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns proactively, explaining repair options clearly, and fostering long-term relationships
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a diesel engine environment or service management role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems.
- Excellent communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude with mechanic experience or a background in diesel engine repair enhances effectiveness in this role
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
