We are seeking experienced freelance interpreters for assignments in Houston, Texas.
We welcome applications from professional interpreters in all language pairs. Candidates should have formal education or training in linguistics, translation, interpreting, or a related field, along with substantial proven interpreting experience in medical, legal, business, community, or other professional settings.
This is an independent contractor (1099) role. Interpreters are not employees of the company. Work is assigned on a project basis depending on client needs. There is no guarantee of assignment volume, frequency, or continuity.
Contractors are responsible for managing their own availability and complying with all applicable tax and legal obligations for self-employed individuals in the United States.
We seek professionals who can provide accurate consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation, maintain strict confidentiality, and demonstrate professionalism, neutrality, and reliability in all assignments.
All hiring decisions are based on qualifications, language needs, and client requirements.
