Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
- Upsell menu items and drink specials to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities
- Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales records
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bar tops, tables, and food prep zones
- Assist with food handling, food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Demonstrated knowledge of cocktail mixing, spirits, wine varieties, and beverage service techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales transactions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations professionally
- Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy hours
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling procedures
- Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus but not required
