Responsibilities:
- Follow safety rules as clients board and exit buses or cross streets near bus stops.
- Check the condition of a vehicle’s tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water and safety equipment to ensure that everything is in working order.
- Maintain order among clients during trips to ensure safety.
- Keep bus interiors clean for passengers.
- Report any bus malfunctions or needed repairs.
- Drive gasoline, diesel, or electrically powered multi-passenger vehicles to transport clients between neighborhoods, cities, and social activities.
- Assist clients in all aspects of ADLS while in the facility, which includes but not limited to feeding, toileting, dressing, functional transfers, ambulation and any other activities of daily living.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Current New Jersey Driver’s CDL License with Passenger Endorsement.
- Previous experience in Long-Term Care facilities preferred.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, clients’ families, regulatory agencies or members of the community.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
